True personal fulfillment only comes when helping others. Sometimes, we forget to be thankful for all the privileges we’re lucky enough to have. However, with this post we’d like to remind our readers that with that privilege comes an immense responsibility to give back to those who need it the most, which is precisely what we do through our support for the El Buen Coser cooperative in Petare, Venezuela.   Furthermore, we have a special concern for the millions of kids around the world that are suffering of hunger, thirst and even lack of education, which is why we admire these organizations:   “Save the Children” - an NGO that promotes children's rights, provides relief and helps support children in...

Breakfast is certainly the most important meal of the day, so why don’t we start it off right? When choosing amongst the millions of #BKFST options New York has to offer, the healthy alternatives should always come first in our list. Trading French toast for avocado toast and milkshakes for cold-pressed juices is cool now, and the kids shouldn’t stay behind on this trend. The Butcher’s Daughter, in Nolita, offers everything from organic muesli to delicious frozen acai smoothies (a kid’s favorite!). Jack’s Wife Freda is also a great location to have all-natural meals with ingredients like fresh berries, quinoa ad kale. Take a look at their breakfast menu here!

One of the things kids love the most is to have direct contact with animals. The little ones are fans of dogs, cats, even horses. Therefore, it is very common for them to develop bonds with these friendly creatures and to express the wish of becoming a veterinarian. What is most important for us as parents, however, is canalizing this wish. While a few visits to the Central Park Zoo will motivate our kids to go on the vet-road, we also need to encourage them so they can volunteer at organizations like the local animal shelter in the near future. Meanwhile, let’s dress them up accordingly.

This week, we’re ecstatic about the positive vibes spring is bringing into the city. Our little ones are already wearing childrenchic SS16, and the warmer temperatures incite us to go out and try new adventures. “Stargazing at the High Line”, for example, kicks off this month. You can look at the stars from this Chelsea gem every Tuesday around dusk at the Von Furstenberg deck (shopping at DVF afterwards is allowed!).   In addition, Mo Willems is taking his exhibit of 100 works, “The Art and Whimsy”, to the New York Historical Society in Central Park West. Some of the best award-winning children drawings will be showcased in the event, starting April 3rd.   However, perhaps what makes us most...

Spring is here, and we are ready to celebrate. So much is going on around this time in the city, and it can be difficult to pick the best things to do this newly arrived season.    With long weekends and holidays on the horizon, your kids are going to have plenty of extra free time, so we recommend you grab your new collection childrenchic outfits and hit The Playroom. This new Upper East Side 3,000-square-foot play space is the place to be this spring. The little ones can act like mom and dad by playing with shopping carts (seems familiar?), or even with ride-on car toys – we’re talking Bentleys and Mercedes.   It can also be fun to...
