Canvas Cap-Toe Collection - Made for Summer Adventures
Summer hit our design studio like a lightning bolt this year. Not the weather – the realization. We were watching a group of kids at a Brooklyn playground, and it became crystal clear: summer childhood happens in phases. Morning bike rides need different shoes than afternoon water balloon fights. Pool parties require different footwear than evening ice cream runs. So we did something we'd never done before – we created an entire ecosystem of summer shoes.
The Great Canvas Experiment
Here's where it gets interesting. We've always been known for our refined approach to children's footwear, but summer demanded something different. Something that could handle the beautiful chaos of childhood without losing its style. Enter our navy stripe canvas – a fabric that whispers "nautical weekend" but shouts "bring on the mess."
We took this one gorgeous textile and asked: what if we built an entire summer around it? What if instead of limiting ourselves to one style, we created three distinct personalities all sharing the same DNA?
Meet the Summer Squad
The Sofia became our hybrid hero – classic enough for the country club, tough enough for the skateboard park. She's the one who looks put-together but never says no to adventure.

The Washing Machine Test
Here's something we learned the hard way: if it can't survive a washing machine, it can't survive summer. Period. We put every style through what we call "The Popsicle Protocol" – sticky fingers, muddy puddles, grass stains, and yes, actual popsicle drips. Then straight into the washer.
The result? Shoes that come out looking like they never left the box. Because summer memories should be permanent, but summer messes definitely shouldn't be.
Beyond the Playground Philosophy
While we were designing this collection, something beautiful happened. We realized we weren't just making summer shoes – we were making summer possible. Every parent knows that moment when you have to choose between protecting the shoes and letting the kid be a kid. We decided to eliminate that choice entirely.
This canvas collection represents our belief that childhood should be lived at full volume. That the best summer days are unplanned, unpredictable, and occasionally involve emergency wardrobe changes. That the right shoes don't just protect feet – they protect the freedom to be completely, wildly, wonderfully young.
