Inspired by her own upbringing surrounded by women, Isabel Mendoza co-founded Childrenchic to empower and energize girls around the world. From a toddler’s first steps to a piano recital or the first day of school, stepping into a pair of our signature Mary Janes provides the foundation for those special moments in time, evoking a feeling of belief and possibility with every step. We like to think of our mission as spreading magic one pair of Mary Janes at a time.

To reduce our environmental impact, we’re continuously innovating ways to incorporate the use of recycled materials in our shoemaking, as well as partnering with organizations that share our values and environmental practices.

Currently, each pair of Childrenchic shoes is made with insoles crafted entirely from recycled cotton and polyester, while 30% of each outer sole is made using recycled rubber. Additionally, a portion of our designs are crafted using Recytex technology, meaning they are manufactured with 0% use of water, 0% use of chemicals and 0% CO₂ emissions.
